The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses involves the acquisition of the sender’s contact details, which are necessary in order to reply, as well as any personal data included in the communications.

Sales are carried out through the website www.stars3.it via SSL-certified hosting provided by Aruba S.p.A., and are therefore protected against abuse and unauthorized access.

It is STARS3’s duty to preserve the data entered solely and exclusively for internal commercial purposes. Online buyers have the right to request, at any time, the deletion of their data from our database by sending a request to web@stars3.it.
It is also the duty of the online buyer to provide correct personal data for the purpose of purchasing the goods offered by the e-commerce website.

Payment, delivery and shipping methods are expressly indicated in the pre-order summary form and must be fully accepted by the buyer. They may be briefly summarized as follows:

The buyer has the right of withdrawal and therefore the right to a refund according to a method established and agreed by telephone.
The buyer is also required to immediately notify STARS3 if the goods arrive late or are in any way tampered with upon delivery, within 12 hours from the arrival date, which can be tracked in real time by STARS3.
For any existing complaint, the email address web@stars3.it is available, where the buyer may specify and explain what could be improved or verified.

3. Purposes, Legal Basis of Processing and Data Retention Periods or Criteria Used to Determine the Period
The personal data provided will be processed, in compliance with the conditions of lawfulness pursuant to Article 6 of EU Regulation 2016/679, for the purposes indicated below.
Processing will be carried out in automated and manual form, using methods and tools designed to ensure maximum security and confidentiality, by specifically authorized persons.
In accordance with Article 5, paragraph 1, letter e) of EU Regulation 2016/679, the personal data collected will be stored in a form that permits identification of the data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed.
The retention of the personal data provided depends on the purpose of the processing, as indicated below.
Purpose A)
Website browsing
Legal Basis: Legitimate interest, Article 6, letter f) and Recital 47: processing is necessary for the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the Data Controller or of third parties, provided that the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject requiring the protection of personal data do not prevail, taking into account the reasonable expectations of the data subject based on their relationship with the Data Controller.
Activities strictly necessary for the operation of the website and for the provision of the browsing service on the platform.
Data Retention Period: Until the end of the browsing session.
Purpose B)
Direct marketing: subject to consent and until objection, for direct marketing activities of the Data Controller, including the sending of newsletters, promotional, commercial and advertising material, or material relating to events and initiatives, by the Data Controller through automated means such as email and other informational material.
Legal Basis: Consent, Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a): the data subject has given consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes.
Data Retention Period: Until objection/opt-out.
4. Recipients or Categories of Recipients of the Data
The personal data provided will be shared with parties who will process the data as processors pursuant to Article 28 of EU Regulation 2016/679 and/or as natural persons acting under the authority of the Data Controller and the Processor pursuant to Article 29 of EU Regulation 2016/679, for the purposes listed above.
Specifically, the data will be shared with:
parties that provide services for the management of the information system used by Riccardo Grua, including email, newsletters and website management;
freelancers, professional firms or companies in the context of assistance and consultancy relationships;
competent authorities for compliance with legal obligations and/or provisions of public bodies, upon request.

Except for what is specified for browsing data, which are necessary to allow website browsing, the user is free to provide personal data.
The provision of data for Purpose B) is optional. In the absence of such provision, the user’s data will not be processed for that purpose. Refusal to provide such data will not affect the usability of the purposes referred to in point A).
7. Rights of Data Subjects
You may exercise your rights as set out in Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 of EU Regulation 2016/679 by contacting the company’s internal Privacy Consultant at the email address web@stars3.it.
You have the right, at any time, to request from the Data Controller access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability.
Furthermore, you have the right to object, at any time, to the processing of your data based on consent and/or legitimate interest.
To stop receiving automated direct marketing communications, such as emails or SMS messages, it is sufficient to send an email at any time to web@stars3.it with the subject line “cancellation for marketing”.
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, if you believe that the processing of data concerning you violates the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679, pursuant to Article 15, letter f) of the aforementioned EU Regulation 2016/679, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority — Supervisory Authority: www.garanteprivacy.it.
8. Changes to the Privacy Policy
The Data Controller reserves the right to modify, update, add or remove parts of this Privacy Policy at their own discretion and at any time.
In order to facilitate such verification, the information notice will contain the date of update.
